Broadband complaint in India: complaint number, escalation and appeal

TRAI’s published route starts with your service provider’s complaint centre. An unresolved issue can then go to that provider’s appellate authority.

Applies to: Home internet on Windows, macOS, phones and tablets. No Kilobat account or app required.Checked: 3 November 2026

When this helps

  • Your home internet service is in India.
  • A persistent fault or speed problem remains unresolved.

Record exactly what fails

Write down the plan, problem dates and whether the issue is low speed, interruptions or a particular service.

Compare wired and wireless results if possible. Save test conditions and screenshots with dates.

Start with the provider’s complaint centre

  1. Use the complaint-centre contact listed by your provider or TRAI’s directory.

  2. Describe the fault and attach a short set of relevant results.

  3. Keep the complaint number and the expected response or resolution details.

Escalate to the provider’s appellate authority

TRAI publishes links to complaint-centre and appellate-authority details. Use the current entry for your provider and service area.

If the response is unsatisfactory, include the original complaint number, response, evidence and requested outcome in your appeal.

Follow the current appeal requirements and time limits shown by the official source.

Prepare your complaint

Use the complaint template to state the problem, evidence and requested resolution. Keep the tone factual.

You can collect evidence without Kilobat. If you use a Kilobat report, review it before sharing and add your test conditions.

Still stuck?

You can ask for help at ping@kilobat.app. Send your symptoms and reviewed test results, with or without Kilobat.
