What it serves

Zoom's firewall article lists *.zoom.us and *.zoom.com on TCP 80 and 443 and UDP 443, for all Zoom clients and the web browser.

For meetings and webinars, Zoom lists TCP 443, 8801 and 8802, and UDP 3478, 3479 and 8801 to 8810, to its own address ranges.

On a Mac, the Zoom app is zoom.us.

What breaks if you block it

Block with care

Blocking them stops Zoom meetings, sign-in and updates. To save data, turn off video in meetings instead.

What breaks if you block it

  • The Zoom app can't sign in or join meetings.
  • Zoom's website doesn't load.

With Kilobat Pro and the network filter, you can block a host for every app or for one app: in Connections, select a connection and choose Block. Apple’s own services are never blocked by Kilobat’s Protection lists.

Notes

Zoom says that it announces planned changes to its IP addresses on its status page.
