Connect to the `Southeastern_WiFi` network. 2. The landing page at `southeastern.on.icomera.com` opens. Register your email address the first time. 3. Start browsing. Next time, only your email address is needed. Free: A VPN, iCloud Private Relay or your own DNS can hide the sign-in page. Kilobat notices the network is waiting and opens the page in one click. Turn the VPN on again once you’re signed in. Free or paid ## Who gets Southeastern Wi-Fi, and what it costs - Southeastern says you can use free Wi-Fi on board all its trains. - The allowance is 75MB per device per day, or 100MB on high-speed services. - Its Wi-Fi page says mainline services also get 100MB; its FAQ names only high-speed services. - After the allowance you keep access at a slower speed. You can’t buy more data. - The Wi-Fi works only on trains, not at stations. As of November 2026. Coverage ## Where Southeastern Wi-Fi works, and where it drops 1. Wi-Fi now works in the tunnel between Stratford International and St Pancras International. 2. Southeastern is working with industry partners to improve connectivity in other tunnels. 3. Southeastern publishes a Wi-Fi map on its Wi-Fi page showing signal strength by route. The rules ## Data limits, streaming on Southeastern ### Limits and streaming Streaming audio or video isn’t recommended. You can’t view adult or illegal content or open large files. Southeastern estimates an hour of browsing at 15MB and one minute of HD video at 5MB. It doesn’t publish a VPN rule. On Southeastern Wi-Fi on board: - **The sign-in page.** When it doesn’t open by itself, the menu bar says **This Wi-Fi wants you to sign in**, with **Open sign-in page**. Turn your VPN on again after you’ve signed in. Free: - **Why it can’t connect.** When a VPN, iCloud Private Relay or custom DNS hides the sign-in page, Kilobat names the layer that broke: VPN, DNS or the network. Free: - **See what’s using it.** Every app’s upload and download, live in the menu bar, so you know which one is taking the shared link. Free: - **Mark it metered.** macOS treats train Wi-Fi as unlimited. Mark it **Metered** and Kilobat skips its own speed tests; with automatic switching, Travel blocks backups and the like on that network.
