# Get help with your network report

Slow downloads, dropped calls, or a connection that keeps cutting out? Send us your Kilobat support report and tell us what is happening. We can help you understand the measurements, decide what to check next, and prepare a message for your internet provider.

[Write to ping@kilobat.app →](mailto:ping@kilobat.app?subject=Kilobat%20network%20report%20review&body=Country%20and%20region%3A%20%0AInternet%20provider%20(optional)%3A%20%0AWhat%20is%20happening%3F%20%0APlan%20speed%20and%20where%20it%20is%20stated%20(optional)%3A%20%0AWhat%20have%20you%20already%20tried%3F%20%0A%0AI%20have%20reviewed%20my%20report%20for%20sensitive%20information.%20)

## How to share a report

1. In Kilobat, open Health and choose **Share a report**. Select 24 hours or 7 days, then copy the text or save a PDF.
2. Review the report before sharing it. Remove private hostnames, addresses or anything else you do not want to send. Optional site checks can contain the site name and public server addresses.
3. Email the report to [ping@kilobat.app](mailto:ping@kilobat.app). Tell us your country and, where relevant, region, what is going wrong and what you have already tried. If you know your plan speed or minimum guarantee, tell us the exact wording and where you found it.

You can also use `kilobat support-report --json --hours 168` if you prefer the command line. Please do not send `kilobat report --json`: that is a different export and can contain app usage data.

## Before you send

Email is not anonymous. We receive your email address and anything you include in your message or attachments, and use it to respond to your request. Do not send passwords, account numbers, payment details, license keys or full contracts. If relevant, copy only the plan speed and its wording. If you attach a document, remove personal details and check that redactions also remove hidden text and metadata. See our [privacy notice](https://kilobat.app/privacy) or contact us to request deletion.

## What the report can tell us

The report describes what one Mac recorded while Kilobat was running. It can reveal patterns in measured speed, latency, missed ping replies and connection interruptions. A result does not automatically show which part of the network is responsible, prove a contractual breach, or establish whole-home uptime. We may suggest further tests or direct you to an official local complaint route. You choose whether to contact your provider.

## Help wherever you live

You can send a report from any country. Provider commitments and consumer rights vary by location, connection and contract, so we will not assume that one country's rules apply elsewhere. Local rules and complaint procedures should be checked with the relevant official source.

- **Germany:** [Bundesnetzagentur: Internetgeschwindigkeit](https://www.bundesnetzagentur.de/DE/Vportal/TK/InternetTelefon/Internetgeschwindigkeit/start.html). Its official fixed-line measurement procedure is separate from a Kilobat report.

## Changes to know about

- **UK · 8 April 2026:** eligible unresolved telecom complaints can generally be referred to independent dispute resolution after six weeks, or earlier with a deadlock letter. [Check Ofcom's current guidance](https://www.ofcom.org.uk/phones-and-broadband/service-quality/adr-schemes).
- **Germany · 20 April 2026:** a separate mobile broadband measurement procedure took effect. [See the Bundesnetzagentur's fixed and mobile procedures](https://www.bundesnetzagentur.de/DE/Vportal/TK/InternetTelefon/Internetgeschwindigkeit/start.html).

Rules and provider membership can change. Check the official source and the terms of your own service before taking action.
