## Who provides it

- **[Anuvu](https://kilobat.app/in-flight-wifi/anuvu)**

Anuvu announced an upgrade for over 100 Turkish Airlines narrowbody aircraft in March 2026. Sixty-five were fitted at the announcement.
- **[SES Open Orbits](https://kilobat.app/in-flight-wifi/intelsat)**

SES says its Open Orbits service was selected for the airline’s new A350 fleet. Equipment varies across the fleet.

## What’s free

- On international flights, Classic members get unlimited messaging. Higher membership tiers and Business Class include additional data; the allowance depends on status and cabin.
- On domestic flights, Business Class passengers and Miles&Smiles members receive complimentary messaging.
- All passengers receive unlimited internet on selected narrowbody aircraft. Turkish Airlines lists 103 A321, 737-800 and 737-900ER aircraft.

As of November 2026.

## Streaming and calls

Turkish Airlines says broadband supports high-bandwidth applications, but its connectivity page does not give a general streaming rule.

## VPNs

The airline does not state a general VPN rule on its connectivity page.

## Which planes have it

The airline says over 300 aircraft have connectivity. Coverage varies by aircraft and route, and weather or restricted airspace can interrupt service.

## How to connect

1. Join the `TK WiFi` network on an equipped aircraft.
2. Open `tkwifi.net` and follow the login steps.
3. Choose your available package or use your eligible Miles&Smiles allowance.

A connection help video is available on the PLANET entertainment system. Ask cabin crew for assistance.

## On board with Kilobat

Kilobat is a Mac menu-bar app that shows what each app sends and holds back what can wait. On a plane:

- **The sign-in page.** When it doesn’t open by itself, the menu bar says **This Wi-Fi wants you to sign in**, with **Open sign-in page**. Turn your VPN on after you’ve signed in.
- **Mark it metered.** macOS treats plane Wi-Fi as unlimited. Mark it **Metered** in Kilobat’s Wi-Fi menu or with `kilobat networks cost metered`, and Kilobat skips its own speed tests. If automatic switching is enabled, it switches to Travel.
- **Updates wait.** With Pro, paused updaters enabled and the network filter on, macOS Software Update, App Store downloads, Google Updater and Microsoft AutoUpdate wait for an unmetered network. The apps keep working.
- **See what’s using it.** Every app’s upload and download, live in the menu bar, so a messaging-only plan isn’t spent on a sync you forgot.
- **Send later.** A big upload, such as Dropbox syncing a folder, shows as a row with its speed. With Pro, **Send later** can hold it until you’re on unmetered Wi-Fi again, for up to eight hours while Kilobat is open.
- **Know what’s slow.** Health shows latency and loss, and with Pro their history through the flight. Those measurements can help you investigate a slow connection. When Slack or Zoom won’t load, [Is it them or me?](https://kilobat.app/is-it-down) reads the service’s status page.
