Its FAQ names the portal and its first button. 1. Above 10,000 feet, turn on Wi-Fi and join the onboard network. 2. Open `www.evawifi.com` and choose **Get Online**. 3. Pick your plan. For a voucher or discount code, choose **Use a voucher or discount code** and enter it. 4. Keep the data counter page open. If you close it, go back to `www.evawifi.com` and choose **Get Online**. Some 777-300ERs also have AeroMobile texting and data roaming through partner mobile operators, from 20,000 feet. It isn’t available over the Arctic, Antarctica or the United States, and voice calls aren’t allowed. **Kilobat** EVA Air Wi-Fi This Wi-Fi wants you to sign in Open sign-in page ### Sign-in page didn’t open? Free ## What’s free on EVA Air - **Business Class** passengers get free **Unlimited Web Browsing**, whether or not they’re members. - In **Premium Economy**, every Infinity MileageLands member gets Unlimited Web Browsing. Non-members get no free plan. - In **Economy**, Diamond and Gold Card members get Unlimited Web Browsing. Silver and Green Card members get **Unlimited Text**. Non-members get no free plan. - This table covers all EVA Air and UNI Air international flights. EVA’s regional pages give different start dates for it, from 1 September to 1 November 2026. A free browsing offer for all passengers ran before that. - Unlimited Text covers messaging apps such as Line and WhatsApp, but not photos or videos. As of November 2026. Wi-Fi is on EVA Air’s Boeing 787, 777-300ER and Airbus A330-300 aircraft, in every cabin. It works only above 10,000 feet. EVA says the satellite link can’t reach some areas, such as the polar regions. Speed depends on the number of users, the weather and the airspace. On EVA Air Wi-Fi: - **The sign-in page.** When it doesn’t open by itself, the menu bar says **This Wi-Fi wants you to sign in**, with **Open sign-in page**. Turn your VPN on after you’ve signed in. - **Mark it metered.** macOS treats plane Wi-Fi as unlimited. Mark it **Metered** in Kilobat’s Wi-Fi & Bluetooth menu or with `kilobat networks cost metered`, and Kilobat skips its own speed tests. If automatic switching is enabled, it switches to Travel. - **Updates wait.** With Pro, paused updaters enabled and the network filter on, macOS Software Update, App Store downloads, Google Updater and Microsoft AutoUpdate wait for an unmetered network. The apps keep working. - **See what’s using it.** Every app’s upload and download, live in the menu bar, so a messaging-only plan isn’t spent on a sync you forgot. - **Send later.** A big upload, such as Dropbox syncing a folder, shows as a row with its speed. With Pro, **Send later** can hold it until you’re on unmetered Wi-Fi again, for up to eight hours while Kilobat is open. - **Know what’s slow.** Health shows latency and loss, and with Pro their history through the flight.
