Free: A VPN, iCloud Private Relay or your own DNS can hide the sign-in page. Kilobat notices the network is waiting and opens the page in one click. Turn the VPN on again once you’re signed in. Free ## Who gets Hilton Wi-Fi free - **All members**: Hilton lists free WiFi at every tier. Joining Hilton Honors is free. - **Silver** and **Gold**: free in-room and lobby standard WiFi at Hilton’s brands, from Waldorf Astoria to Hampton by Hilton and Home2 Suites. - **Diamond** and **Diamond Reserve**: free in-room and lobby Premium WiFi, which Hilton describes as the fastest in the hotel. - You need a confirmed booking through a Hilton channel. That means a Hilton website or app, Hilton Reservations, the hotel itself, or a travel agent booking through Hilton or a named GDS. - Bookings through third-party websites, opaque rates or outside packages don’t earn on-property benefits, free WiFi included. - Hilton says WiFi may not be free in meeting spaces or at hotels with a resort fee. It’s free, and free WiFi starts at the base tier. 3. 3 If your hotel charges a resort fee, check what it includes before arrival. Hilton says WiFi may not be free there. On Hilton Wi-Fi in the hotel: - **The sign-in page.** When it doesn’t open by itself, the menu bar says **This Wi-Fi wants you to sign in**, with **Open sign-in page**. Turn your VPN on again after you’ve signed in. Free: - **Why it can’t connect.** When a VPN, iCloud Private Relay or custom DNS hides the sign-in page, Kilobat names the layer that broke: VPN, DNS or the network. The apps keep working. ## Questions **Is Hilton WiFi free?** Standard WiFi is free for Hilton Honors members who book through a Hilton channel. Premium WiFi has a fee unless you’re Diamond or Diamond Reserve. **Is Hilton WiFi free if I book through an online travel agent?** No. Hilton says free WiFi, like other on-property benefits, needs a booking made directly through Hilton channels. **Which Hilton members get Premium WiFi?** Diamond and Diamond Reserve members, at no charge. Hilton’s benefits chart doesn’t include it for Member, Silver or Gold. **Can you use a VPN on Hilton Wi-Fi?** Hilton doesn’t publish a VPN rule. **Why won’t the Hilton Wi-Fi sign-in page open on my Mac?** A VPN, iCloud Private Relay or your own DNS can keep the page from opening. Turn them off, open `http://captive.apple.com` in Safari, and turn the VPN on again after you’ve signed in.
