# Singtel slow internet in Singapore: tests, evidence and complaints

If your Singtel connection is slow or unreliable, start with these equipment checks. Then document a repeatable result and ask for a specific investigation.

Applies to: Paths checked on Singtel’s HB611-SGST help pages, whose screenshots show the TP-Link HB810 interface, and in TP-Link’s HB-series mesh user guide (REV1.0.0). The router starts in access point mode, with menus under **Setting**; in router mode they move under **Advanced** or **Basic**. The Askey RTM7230T-D171-SGST has a different interface, noted where Singtel documents it. · Checked: 3 November 2026

## When this helps

- You use Singtel in Singapore.
- Your connection is slower than expected, drops out or performs badly at certain times.

## Check your Singtel WiFi 7 Router

These checks apply to Singtel WiFi 7 Router. Check the model before following its menus.

1. Sign in and open **Setting › Network Map**; scroll down for the **Wireless** panel.
2. **Setting › System Tools › System Log** lists events; pick a type and level, then click **Refresh**.
3. Click **Save Log** to keep a copy for Singtel support.

## Separate the service from your home Wi-Fi

For the exact settings and supported equipment, see [the Singtel WiFi 7 Router guide](https://kilobat.app/routers/singtel).

Do not factory-reset the equipment as a first step. A reset can erase service settings and interrupt phone service.

1. Compare a wired connection to the router with Wi-Fi on the same device.
2. Repeat the same test server during the slowdown and at a quieter time.
3. Record download, upload, latency and whether another household device was using the connection.

## How to complain to Singtel

Use [Singtel’s official support](https://www.singtel.com/personal/support/broadband/troubleshoot-by-router/singtel-wifi-7-router-hb611-sgst) to report the fault. Request a formal complaint reference if it remains unresolved.

Include the plan wording, dates, test conditions, previous references and the specific outcome you want. Ask for a written response.

Check the complaints procedure in your Singapore service contract before escalating. Use the national regulator’s consumer guidance for your service.

## Your local escalation route

IMDA’s ADR scheme covers eligible contractual disputes. Approach the provider first, then check the notice requirement, scope and fees before applying.

[IMDA alternative dispute resolution](https://www.imda.gov.sg/Infocomm-regulation-and-guides/infocomm-regulation/Alternative-Dispute-Resolution) lists the conditions and application route.

## Collect the evidence with Kilobat

On a Mac, Kilobat can record connection checks and produce a support report. Review the report and add your test conditions before sharing.

The basic report export is free. [Kilobat Pro’s complaint wizard](https://kilobat.app/internet-complaint) helps assemble your evidence, impact and requested resolution into a draft you review and send.

Measurements cover this Mac while monitoring ran. They cannot prove whole-home uptime, establish provider fault or replace a required official measurement procedure.
