# Chunghwa Telecom slow internet in Taiwan: tests, evidence and complaints

If your Chunghwa Telecom connection is slow or unreliable, start with these equipment checks. Then document a repeatable result and ask for a specific investigation.

Applies to: App paths checked in the Wi-Fi全屋通 App manual (Ver. 115-02, February 2026), which covers the Zyxel WX3400-T0 and the Arcadyan WG620443-TC, WG630223-TC, WE410443-TC and WG420223-TC. Browser paths are from the WG620443-TC and WG630223-TC quick guides (September 2025); the WX3400-T0 guide (April 2026) gives only the login. ## When this helps

- You use Chunghwa Telecom in Taiwan.
- Your connection is slower than expected, drops out or performs badly at certain times.

## Check your Wi-Fi全屋通

These checks apply to Wi-Fi全屋通. Check the model before following its menus.

1. Sign in at `https://mymeshdevice.home`; the **Status** page opens first with the network layout and its state.
2. In the app, **網路拓樸** shows whether each access point is online.
3. Check the modem lights; solid green or blue is normal, red means a fault.
4. For a line fault, tap **設定 › 故障報修** (Settings › Report a fault) to report it online.

## Separate the service from your home Wi-Fi

Do not factory-reset the equipment as a first step. A reset can erase service settings and interrupt phone service.

1. Compare a wired connection to the router with Wi-Fi on the same device.
2. Repeat the same test server during the slowdown and at a quieter time.
3. Record download, upload, latency and whether another household device was using the connection.

## How to complain to Chunghwa Telecom

Use [Chunghwa Telecom’s official support](https://www.cht.com.tw/home/campaign/broadbandHomeWi-Fi/download/Wi-Fi_App_User_Manual.pdf) to report the fault. Request a formal complaint reference if it remains unresolved.

Include the plan wording, dates, test conditions, previous references and the specific outcome you want. Ask for a written response.

Check the complaints procedure in your Taiwan service contract before escalating. Use the national regulator’s consumer guidance for your service.
